Human-Centered Records Management: Essential Soft Skills for RIM Professionals 

Success in records management goes beyond policies and technology. This session shows how soft skills help RIM professionals tackle everyday challenges, collaborate with colleagues, and keep programs running smoothly. Through discussion of common situations in records management and information governance, you will learn how a human-centered approach can make your RIM program stronger and your work more effective.

Speaker:  Holly Cox

Holly Cox is the Records and Information Management Administrator for the City of Frisco, Texas. Since joining local government in 2016, she has championed a human-centered approach to records management. Holly holds an MLS in Archives and Digital Imaging from the University of North Texas, is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and is the Immediate Past President of the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (NAGARA).
