Refund Policy

    REGISTRATION / CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

    The Dallas Chapter of ARMA International strives to provide regular and quality educational opportunities for Chapter members as well as other parties interested in the field of records and information management.  To assist in this effort, the Chapter has instituted the following to protect the fiscal stability of the Chapter as well as aid in the effective administration of meetings and other sponsored activities.

    Registration

    Monthly Chapter Meetings

    The registration deadline for monthly chapter meetings is by 4:00pm local Dallas time on the Thursday prior to the meeting.  Registrants can choose to pay for the meeting via online registration or at the door.  A limited number of spots may be available for walk-up attendees and/or late-registrants.  The VP of Professional Development will determine whether or not late or walk-up registrants will be admitted to the event due to seating availability.

    Conferences & Seminars

    Registration for conferences and seminars sponsored by the Chapter are outlined in the registration material for those specific events.  A limited number of spots may be available for walk-up attendees and/or late-registrants.  The VP of Professional Development will determine whether or not late or walk-up registrants will be admitted to the event due to seating availability.

    Cancellation

    Cancellations after the registration deadline for both Monthly Chapter Meetings and/or other events are not permitted.  No-shows will be obligated to pay for the cost of registration.  Cancellations requested prior to the registration deadline will be handled by the VP of Professional Development on a case-by-case basis. 

    Refunds

    Refunds are not given for no-show registrants for both Monthly Chapter meetings and/or other events.  No-shows will be obligated to pay for the cost of registration.  Refunds requested prior to the registration deadline will be addressed on a case-by-case basis with the preference being to credit the registration for a future ARMA Dallas Chapter event.  

    Refunds for extenuating circumstances or weather cancellations may be granted, and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.  Such requests for individuals will be at the discretion of the VP of Professional Development.  Refunds for events cancelled due to extreme weather conditions will be determined by the Board.
